The ECB Sports & Cultural Club

The ECB Sports and Cultural Club (ECB S&CC) was created in order to meet the following objectives: 

 

  • Team Spirit

fostering a corporate culture of communication, trust and cooperation through improved networking across organisational borders;  

 

  • Wellness & Productivity

contributing to the general wellness of staff via physical fitness, intellectual distraction, social interaction and improved work/life balance with a view to increasing performance and motivation while lowering the level of absenteeism;  

 

  • Staff Integration

helping new staff members assimilate into the organisation as effortlessly and as quickly as possible;  

 

  • Family Integration

providing opportunities to integrate the partners, spouses and families of staff members into the ECB community; 

  

  • Public Relations

representing the ECB at sporting and cultural events with a view to bringing the ECB closer to other relevant institutions and/or to the citizens of Europe.
