Registration

I am not a member of the S&CC yet. How do I register?

You can register in the SCC Portal: https://ecbscc-site.e-captain.nl/subscribe

Complete the form displayed, filling in at the very minimum those fields marked with an asterisk (*), which are mandatory.

There is an extra field you should complete and the application doesn't mark like that: "Repeat e-mail work here". Please, fill it in or your application will not go through. Show your interest to join some of the Club's sections by clicking on the tick boxes in the form.

It is essential that you complete your staff ID (number under the picture on your badge) and your current contract status (to determine your type of membership).

 

I have filled in the form and sent it. What do I expect next?

You should receive an e-mail to confirm your e-mail address. Click on the link contained in the message. After that, your request will reach our system for review.

Your information will be reviewed and matched against HR records by the S&CC Committee. You should receive your credentials in a period of maximum 10 days.

If you do not receive the e-mail to confirm your e-mail address or your credentials within the next 10 days, please write an e-mail to the ECB Sports & Cultural Club mailbox.

 

Membership

Am I already a member of the Sports & Cultural Club?

The new S&CC application (https://ecbscc.e-captain.nl/) contains the data of all active members of the Club, migrated from the old system. If you were a member before the new database went live your data should be already in.

 

What are my membership rights? Can I use the Fitness Facility? Am I entitled to receive subsidies?

In order to participate in any Section or use the Fitness Facility you need to first become a member of the S&CC Club and pay the membership fee.

Depending on your contractual status, you will have a different status and entitlements in the Club. You can see them in the membership matrix.

 
Do I need to pay any membership fee?

UPDATE 08-04-2021: Note that the 10 EUR SCC membership fee has been cancelled as of 2021.

Although there is no SCC membership fee, people still need to register in our system to become members of the Club.

SCC Sections may request a membership fee to participate in their activities. If a fee exists, the money collected will be used to fund their activities. You can find more information about each section specificities in their websites.

 

I want to cancel my membership in the Club. How can I do it?

Log in the SCC Portal and click on "My Profile" on the top menu on the screen. In the sub-menu that appears, select "Cancel membership". A new screen will open. Tick the box "I hereby confirm my cancellation by ",  and click on button "Cancel membership".

 

This will cancel your membership with effect on the last day of the current month. Please note that this does NOT cancel your Fitness Facility membership (in case you have one). In order to cancel that, you need to contact directly the Fitness Facility.

 

Associate members and their registration

If you are a full-member of the Club  (i.e. internal staff, Graduate Programme participant, ESCB/IO) or a Pensioner you can register your associate members (only spouses/recognized partners and dependent children registered with HR in ISIS).

Members associated to you should have single accounts, i.e. they should follow the same process as you did to register in the system. When registering, they should use your staff ID (to link them to you) in the "Staff ID" field, and select S&CC full-member spouse/recognised partner or S&CC full-member children, as "contract type". Fill in the "Relationship to full member" field with Child or Spouse/recognized partner.

From then on they will have their own user account and will be able to manage it from the Internet outside the bank (same as you).

FYI, associate members

  • need to have their own user account, with an e-mail address they can receive their credentials and communications in. In the case of children, that e-mail address can be your own too.t
  • the Staff ID that they need to fill in is the one from the full member of the club they are associated to. This is what makes the link between all of you.

 

I am an external member of staff and I am not sure whether I am eligible to use the Fitness Facility. How can I check?

You can have a look at the membership types, rights and fees in the SCC Intranet site (https://intranet.ecb.europa.eu/interact/Pages/Content/Document.aspx?id=2195), in the membership matrix.  

Different types of staff have different rights. Your staff status is the one under which you are registered in ISIS.

 

Keep your data up to date

Keep your data in the system up to date (contract status changes, etc.)
You can make sure your information is up to date using the system. Log in and click on the "My information" item on the top menu on screen.

Make sure your data is updated whenever a change takes place. Please, pay special attention to the information under section "Other" and in particular element "Contract type", since changes there can have an impact on your rights as a Club member.

 

SCC Portal issues

I don't remember my SCC portal credentials. What do I do?

The S&CC application is not synchronized with our ECB internal user credentials. Hence, your ECB username/password combination will not work on this system.

If you don't remember your credentials, you can use the system's functionality to recover them.

  • Go to the SCC system (https://ecbscc-site.e-captain.nl/), and click on "Forgot your password/username?"
  • Input your ECB e-mail address (try with extension @ecb.europa.eu or @ecb.int) and you will receive an e-mail message with your current credentials. For associate members, the e-mail address could be a private one.

 

I am trying to recover my credentials, but my e-mail address is not recognized by the system.

This might be due to one of the following 2 reasons:

  • The e-mail our system sends could have been sent to your spam folder. Check your spam folder.
  • You have not registered any e-mail address in the system. This could be the case especially for associate members. In such case, please write an e-mail to the ECB Sports & Cultural Club mailbox, giving us an e-mail address to register in the system.

If you still cannot access the system, drop an e-mail to the ECB Sports & Cultural Club mailbox.


How do I change my credentials in the system?

Log in the system and click on item "Change username/password" in the top menu.

You will be able to modify both your username and password in the system. 

 

I don't have access to the Committees' Pages, but I am a Section Committee member.

Write to the ECB Sports & Cultural Club mailbox with an updated list of your Section Committee members. They will update this information in the system and grant access to the relevant people.

 

How can I see if my associate members are linked to my profile?

Log in the SCC system and in the homepage you should then see who the S&CC members linked to you in the system are. In case of issues, send an e-mail to the ECB Sports & Cultural Club mailbox.

 

I am already a member and I want to show interest in a Section. How do I do it?

Log in the system and go to the item "My groups/sections" on the top menu on the screen. Tick the boxes of the sections you are interested in and click on the button "Save".
